Hrithik Roshan charges whooping sum of Rs 30 crore for his next

Hrithik Roshan surpasses Salman Khan’s paycheck with his newest official remake of ‘Knight And Day’, bagging a whooping amout of Rs 30 crore. The original starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the lead.
With Ek Tha Tiger, Salman Khan was the highest paid Bollywood actor, with YFR paying him Rs 27 crore. But now, Hrithik Roshan it is.
The Knight And Day remake stars Katrina Kaif in the lead, opposite Hrithik and is directed by Siddharth Anand.
Reportedly, after the superhit Agneepath, Hrithik has doubled his fee. According to a popular tabloid,‘several trade experts and analysts [have] confirmed Hrithik’s price hike off the record.’ This is the second time Hrithik has hiked his fees, first being in 2006, when the actor had hiked his fee by 21 per cent.
Says trade analyst Amod Mehra, “So what if Hrithik is charging Rs 30 crore for the film? I think it’s less compared to what he gives in to his projects.”
Unlike few other Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, who usually opt for profit sharing of their films, Hrithik has stuck with the straightforward payment model.
Hrithik is currently shooting for Krrish 3 with director daddy Rakesh Roshan, which will hit theaters on November 3, 2013.
